As Entrepreneurship plays a vital and back bone of our Indian Economy. Here the Entrepreneurship Cell is a student-driven cell in our University. This is Started to encourage creativity, innovation, and business ideas among the students.
It brings together students who want to explore entrepreneurship and provides them with workshops, mentoring, competitions, and industry exposure. It is formed under the Government of Tamil Nadu Scheme. It provides a lot of awareness program to initiate the young minds to move on to the next level in their life as job creator instead of job seeker.
My Story – Motivational Session by Successful Innovators
The “My Story – Motivational Session by Successful Innovators” programme, focusing on Entrepreneurship, was conducted on 14 February 2025 at the Placement Hall, Faculty of Management. The session featured an inspiring talk by Mr. G. Rajamurthy, Chairman of the Export Promotion Centre and CEO & Director of the Tamil Nadu Economic Development Council, Madurai, who shared his entrepreneurial journey, innovative ideas, and real-world experiences with the participants.
The event was convened by Prof. M. Sivakumar and Prof. V. Dharuman, with Dr. V. A. Anand serving as the Organizing Secretary. The programme saw active participation from First and Second year MBA (Logistics Management) students, research scholars, faculty members of the Faculty of Management, along with the HoD and the Dean of FoM, making the session highly interactive, insightful, and motivating for aspiring entrepreneurs.
How to plan for Start-up and legal and ethical steps
The programme on “How to Plan for Start-up and Legal and Ethical Steps”, focusing on Entrepreneurship, was conducted on 25 August 2025 at the Placement Hall, Faculty of Management. The session featured an insightful lecture by Mr. Arumai Ruban Joseph, District Programme Manager, EDII TN, Department of MSME, Sivagangai, who elaborated on the essential procedures, legal frameworks, and ethical considerations involved in establishing a start-up.
The event was convened by Prof. M. Sivakumar and Prof. V. Dharuman, with Dr. V. A. Anand serving as the Organizing Secretary. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from First and Second year MBA (Logistics Management) students, research scholars, faculty members from the Faculty of Management, along with the HoD and the Dean of FoM. The session proved to be highly informative, equipping budding entrepreneurs with the foundational knowledge required to launch and sustain successful ventures.

The Seminar / Conference / Workshop will cover the following themes based on the thoughts of Mahatma Gandhi: Public welfare, values, personal development, peace and non-violence, truth, rural development, aesthetic experience, ethical experience, religious experience, creativity and imagination in the teaching–learning process for the betterment of life and self-attainment, and the ideological perception of Gandhiji in the Indian struggle for freedom.
