- Regulation of virulence factors of Streptococcus pyogenes (Group A Streptococcus) with special reference to biofilm formation.
- Screening, characterization and evaluation of novel anti-quorum sensing and antibiofilm compounds against human and aquaculture pathogens from marine resources.
- Molecular cataloguing and bioprospecting of bacterial diversity associated with various ecosystems of Gulf of Mannar and Palk Bay through culture dependent and independent (including metagenomics) approaches.
